Every five minutes a border patrol car hurled by. I could see them coming from a long way off, kicking up a long wall of dust. All around me the desert was filled with the signs of people passing through. Clothing, hidden maps, and most importantly bottles of water. It made me nervous.

I was seeking a mine that according to rumour had a strange and magnificent architecture. The mine was hidden well. A small tunnel in the side of a cliff led into a large room, open to the sky with the tallest tunnels I have ever seen, some must have been fifty feet or more in height.
